An instant smile

Sometimes...

when a long  forgotten plant blooms,
even your steaming cup of tea
remains uncared for
as your eyes glimmer with
cartloads of smiles.

Lulled into sleep, closed white sheaves
shed their langour to smile,
as gold tipped darts
spray bits of
sunny sparkle.

Braving the curled n' fragile edges
of a soft, crumbly precipice,
curious ants tumble into
a duvet of
white, velvety
petals.
