The making of a carpet

Image
I am in need of a soft carpet for a flawless landing. I've been keeping tabs on the  carpet-making process, which began in earnest, long ago. Step by step, I  see it coming up, the creation of the green patchwork, the intertwoven shapes,               the appearance of an attractive layout, looking as if designed just for me.

Dispelling the gloom

Image
With a jaunty nod at the rambunctious wind, the pearly and petite jasmine blossoms, crouch like dainty, wispy butterflies upon rich, green tapestry. These miniature masterpieces from Nature's 'Fresh Goods' store, spew forth multiple beams of divine radiance, which when combined with a dizzying fragrance, bring footsteps closer, a smile lighting up the peering face... when effervescent white candles, fashioned by Nature's  nimble fingers, sprinkle an overwhelmingly contagious n' whimsical sparkle, over carefully tended patches of green.

Deadwood

Image
Here I am, a portion of deadwood... a sombre reminder of happier times, but sometimes when I'm put in good hands, sculpted and polished, watch me transform myself into a piece of art, offering you tantalising glimpses of my 'yet-to-be-penned' green memoirs.

Taking risks

Image
Sometimes... it is necessary to take risks in un-idyllic situations. Later on... there's that feeling of immense satisfaction that I have boldly faced those perils and challenges.

Growing in numbers

Image
Hello! I'm your favourite Tulsi plant, looking a bit off colour. I think I am in need of extra special care and more attention. Look closer. The tiny fellas are growing in number. My neighbours are keeping their fingers crossed, hoping they'll be safe. Needed:  A vanquisher who will not harm me, my green friends, and my home, the Earth.

Grab a bite

Image
A lil' someone with an unending appetite is hungry and searching for bits of green. Oh no! A familiar shadow is visible. Hmm! Not so clever... still searching. Meanwhile... we, a green collective, are seeking a hidey hole.

A tradition lingers

Image
Grandma's taking a break stretching her tired feet, while pounding away at her pile of favourite betel nuts. We are enjoying this scene from close by and from the look of fierce concentration etched on grandma's face, grandma sure knows her business. We intend to 'share' this nostalgic scene, with our friend, the betel vine.
