An empty cradle

Image
A 'never seen before' cradle is ready. Looks cosy and intriguing, set against a green background. A white, fluttery n' friendly, soft n' tickly toy is eager to cuddle the lil'one. Oh no! The baby is crying, refusing to sleep in the cradle. Whoa! A scary and fierce looking stranger lurks nearby.

Shedding loneliness

Image
I wish I had... the company of a bunch of true friends, sending across some cheerful vibes, helping me cross the stiles during my 'growing' years. Sometimes... wishes do come true. That lonely feeling has disappeared like magic in the midst of like-minded.

A destructive trend

Image
The view right before me... spiralling smoke with the greenery gone, signs of destruction stretching for miles, brings tears to my eyes. Stunned, I am unable to move. I wish I could shift elsewhere. My friend who is a busy tourist, has suggested what he calls... a place 'just right' and suited to my tastes. It looks perfect, mystical, magical, and untouched too but will it last?

Those 'Feel good/Feel bad' moments

Image
Rain Watch: Pounding showers on a rare visit to a parched city. Your eyes grow wide as you come across those 'reborn' spots in the garden. A view of Kitty enjoying her sojourn on a damp tree trunk : Her 'meow' reads... thanks for the refreshing wetness of the sand. Is it true or am I dreaming? I wish I had some fish to celebrate these vivid memories. Get closer... you'll know the joy vibrating through our cells. Gladly soaking up something that was long needed... dehydrated roots from deep under increase their intake. 💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧 We did not envisage this... moan a host of 'rarely appearing' exquisitely designed raindrops, busy draping their glistening necklaces, over dry swathes of green and non green spaces.

A traffic stopper

Image
The hot atmosphere with heat radiating from every pore makes you close your eyes but something... the peering heads and pointing fingers from nearby vehicles makes your eyes open. Bunches of bright, mesmerising, yellow blossoms, sway with gay abandon, to the tune of a warm breeze, lightening your mood, their tender petals, looking to wipe away the beads of sweat gathering on your brow by their sheer elegant presence. A 'Summer show' to beat the heat, thanks to a benevolent 'Golden Shower' tree.

World Environment Day 2018 - A bit of caring

Image
The dawn of a very special day. We are dreaming and praying. Hoping our wish for a plastic free, spacious, litter free, evergreen, butterfly kingdom comes true. Help has arrived to ensure this. We love our new playmates. Here's one, and another and yet another colourful one. We have some juicy treats in mind for the new entrants. Envisaging a thirst free day.

Those heavenly drops

Image
Prelude to a wondrous evening: I sense a balmy wind, sweeping away the humid air hanging around, followed by a dazzling light and sound show high up in the heavens and suddenly... cold glistening blobs dot my arms. At a time, when I had long given up hope, after spending hours gazing longingly at dry pipes and buckets, whil begging the sun for a bit of mercy, the sky opened its lock and sent forth a deluge of pearly drops. Oh, how  I wish we could somehow preserve them for ever n' ever! Presenting that dizzying fresh look, thanks to the arrival long awaited summer showers.

Hide and seek

Image
The gentle wind swirling around tells me... it's time for a game of 'hide and seek' outdoors, with my closest pals. The game begins. Searching eagerly... and with luck, I've located one of them. Searching for the other. A certain someone is very clever. It's taking more time. Ah, at last! Caught red handed. We are enjoying the day and I must add moves are afoot, to frame these idyllic moments together for posterity. A curious someone, wishes t o join us.
