Yellow n' green notes

Image
The right setting is indeed important. My two wheels need a bit of rest after a long ride. We do agree add a chorus of voices. 'That's right,' whisper another group clamouring for attention. #florafaunaspeak

Work of art

Someone has just finished an awesome painting. You are invited to view the display. Could you please add a bit of my colour too? A flowery voice in the vicinity entreats.

Images from childhood

Image
I am standing here witnessing some exhilarating childhood moments... when a fidgety child... jumps up in joy and points out to the busy maternal figure nearby... Look! Yay! My plant is taller than yours.

Green n' pink notes

Image
When those dark tempestuous clouds gather, when the chirpy n' curious feathered visitors fall silent, when the pearly drops come dashing down pell-mell, thanks to an unseen hand driving 'em crazy, I tend to hide. When the sleepy sun arrives, sending out bits n' pieces of golden arrows, I unfurl my pink petals and bid passers by, condescending to glance at my green rug... a pleasant morning. #florafaunaspeak

In strange company

Image
Sometimes... I do end up with strange companions. The kind of company does vary and may  be a bit bizarre but life goes on.

Unselfishness

Image
I've become weak and am in dire need of a suitable kind of support. Been trying hard to find someone willing to assist me. A supportive frame would help me find my bearings, to move forward in the journey through the twisting lanes of life. Really delighted to find a couple of kindly souls on whom I can lean upon. I recall reading  somewhere... 'we are there for each other'.

Father's Day - Poignant Memories

Image
We are out celebrating 'Father's Day' but... where is dad? Recalling those fun, boisterous, bonding together... cherished moments. Practising those repeated 'dad taught me' and mum too, lessons in catching the choicest insects.

Testing times

Image
A survey around gives me the heebie jeebies. I am wondering... will I face the same 'ripping apart' some day? However, let me assure you, I am not one to step back or cower down in fright but ever willing to face the test. As they say... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
