Finding its way through layers of heat laden air and piles of yellow-brown litter, the soul wandered, restlessly, seeking personal space. It burrowed deep, searching for traces of soft warmth, feeling the embrace of Earthy brown nuggets, that clung, tightly around, stifling the waves of pain and going still deeper, it relished the feel of cool moisture drops rubbing its cheeks, its many long arms, reaching out to feel the reverberations - the maternal vibes, then, stretched out to greet the neighbours - sod, the stones, the twigs, the curled bits of leaf and grass, the tiny ants and sleepy worms, telling them... my name is 'Root' and I am here to stay.
