Nature weaves tales-2

Growing bigger by the day,
under watchful eyes,
that cannot help but
glance often at the rich green hue
and the delicious tangy  treats
locked within,

I am eagerly waiting
for the day when
I'll rest comfortably in
a box of hay  for a  few weeks,
waiting for those
golden  tints to appear

but this morning, I find that,
my fate has turned out to be
rather different.

If you glance upwards,
you can see a shell of
scooped out yellow with
the seed nestled inside,
with the sun adding an
extra golden tinge,
the chorus of
noisy squirrels nearby
announcing their
heartfelt satisfaction.

A delicious seasonal offering -
the 'just grab it' mango - writes a tale.
